This workshop presents tips on using our vast collection of online library resources with Liberty University Online students. This workshop will be helpful in assisting students as well as the faculty member’s personal research. We will discuss accessing subscription resources using EZProxy, creating persistent links to resources that will work off-campus, and ways to prioritize our online resources over print sources when searching databases. We will discuss department-specific Research Guides, Google Scholar, copyright issues, open access materials including Liberty’s Digital Commons, scholarly peer-reviewed journals, interlibrary loan, plagiarism detection and primary vs. secondary sources. Contact information will be provided regarding Liaison librarians and an online call center who are able to assist students and faculty members in using library resources.
