-Make it neat using artist’s tape aka really, really dulled masking tape
-The value study uses black & white paint only, you need 9 steps of value
-The Tint study uses a primary or secondary color + white, you need 4 steps
-The Shade study uses a primary or secondary color + black, you need 4 steps
